I’m not one to usually comment on the weather, but these past few weeks have been exceptionally bad. While I was in Boston, I didn’t feel that any one winter was particularly bad, but this one seems to be worse. To prepare for it, I had to be cooped up in the dorms on the hospital campus. I had no WiFi and no real way to pass the day. But I had the hindsight to bring my camera. I haven’t used it in a long while, so I decided to practice with some light edits.
No matter how bad the weather gets, winter will always have a place in my memory. If you’re busy with life, nature has a way of forcibly making you slow down – like trapping you in a room without Wifi so you can’t waste your life away with Netflix.
It felt nice to be creative again.
