Flashback – May, 2017 – Last May, there was a pop-up theme park in New York for boba/bubble tea lovers. It essentially had neat items and backgrounds to photograph and interact with. In the back, there was a room dedicated to full size “boba” which was large balloons of various colors and sizes to bounce around and pose with. It was a nice way to spend a part of our afternoon. Fun fact: according to Joe Jonas’s instagram story they were there an hour or two before us. And yes, it was very static-ey with all of the balloons.
I had an epiphany recently that I’ve never posted these pictures. I was reminded when I was writing about my night adventure for boba, and I thought about this afternoon that happened almost half a year ago. It’s amazing what can change in just a few months.
Also, this was the same day where this photo was taken. I’ve used that picture in almost all of my social media accounts, as it is one of my favorites. Some people have told me how great of a photo that is, and I feel that it is honestly one of the best candid photos of me.
