Progress check.

As of writing this, I’m coming up on the end of my time in Rhode Island. I’m making plans for my move back to New York right before Thanksgiving. It’s not too close, but it feels like I don’t have much time left at all. But I’m excited for a new change of pace.

With my photography, I’ve hit a point where I’m not making any groundbreaking progress. I feel inspired sometimes, but for the most part I’m quite content with the views around me. I’m scared to say that I’m plateauing, but it definitely feels that way. Then I find this old gem.

This picture was taken back in June(?) before I left Boston. I think it was literally the day before I left. I let it sit in my memory card until now, and I didn’t really think too much of it at the time. But when I was doing some organizing, I found it again and put together this edit. Personally, I love it. I just wish I took more pictures at the time to make a series out of it.

During these changing times, I can’t help but to think about what I need to get done for the next few months. The future is going to bring great things.

I promise.
