I’ve always liked staying home, but being told that you need to stay home is another story. If you’re not busy, you can get a little too stir crazy from the boredom alone. Despite being home and having all of the time in the world, I find myself busier than ever. I commit a lot of my time doing virtual school work and watching the occasional bit of TV. I’m fortunate to be quarantined alongside people that I get along very well with. All of these really makes the days fly by.

At the end of the day, I still keep up to date with the status of COVID here in NYC – right in my backyard. I read horror stories of doctors making decisions about who lives and dies. I have former classmates that are now nurses working on the front lines and I genuinely worry about their safety. If you’re reading this, please do whatever you can to stay inside and minimize contact with others. This virus is not a joke. It is debilitating healthcare systems globally while simultaneously causing an economic crisis. But we’ll get through this. We always do.
It’s a crazy time we’re living in. Stay safe everyone.
