After being here in Providence for over a month, I’m ashamed to admit that I haven’t explored the area as much as I would like. Downtown has the urban aesthetic that I’m used to and East Providence is almost suburban, which reminds me of my home in New York. So as far as aesthetics, Providence has a wide range of places to explore. For example, there’s a sunflower field art installation in the heart of city – almost in the middle of nowhere. I knew I wanted to take some shots there.
With autumn around the corner, I’m going to make it a point to explore somewhere new whenever I have the opportunity to. There’s one or two local parks I’ve been meaning to see, especially with colder weather right around the corner. Special thanks to my roommate Andrew for filling in for some pictures. Try and ignore the cast on his right arm, I promise he has seen better days.
On to the next adventure!
