This is part 2 of my book creations.
I had another opportunity to make a photobook. This one isn’t as extravagant as my first, but now I have the experience on how to properly curate a book. The photos themselves aren’t my favorite, but I picked them for a specific purpose – to flow from page to page to make a bit of a seamless experience. And I think I accomplished that. Some of the transitions are a bit jarring, but there’s not much I can do there.
When designing the book, the online editor was extremely limited with possible options and layouts. I would have loved to have had full two page spreads, especially with a lay flat book. I would have also loved to have been able to insert text. Subtitling each page would have made the pages much more engaging. When it comes to layout flexibility, I would definitely stick with Saal Digital.
I’m running out of things to print. I guess that’s a good thing?
