It has been a long while since I’ve done a ‘before and after’ for one of my pictures. I took a picture of my cousin’s piano in their living room. On the surface, it’s a nice shot – very soft lighting, narrow depth of field, and nice leading lines to guide your eyes down the keys. But to me, it looked a little too bland. So halfway through the edit, I decided to try the butterfly effect that I did from this picture, and place them on the keys.
Looking closer at it now, I think I could have done a better job with the edit. I could have made them glow a bit more or reflect off of the keys. But I think the butterflies really made the picture better, and that’s all I can really ask for.
