As my summer semester finishes up, I feel that it’s about time to do another update. I’ve been taking it slow on the blog as I’m transitioning to the fall – mostly because I know I have a lot more work ahead of me. More classwork, labs, and test prep are on the horizon. I have a few other school related things that I have that will be taking up my time and energy, so photography will have to take a back seat.
I’ve done a small update to my “Portraits” tab. I mostly updated Jenny’s section to include the last two shoots, and I removed some outdated pictures that I don’t think represent my work anymore. Here’s a photo I took at the rose garden a few days ago and i posted on Instagram a little later. The challenge was to make it as abstract as physically possible, while still keeping the subject clear. I think it came out quite nice as a stand alone piece.
