Taking pictures with confetti can be a bit difficult, because I can’t really predict how it’ll behave. If I’m lucky, it’ll be full enough to be visually interesting, but not too much to take away from the subject. I’ve had the fortunate luck to play around with it in not only one photoshoot, but two in one week with Emily and Airi. In both cases, I composited multiple pictures to add in extra confetti into the shot.
These were some of my favorite ‘composites’ I’ve done in a long while. There’s something oddly satisfying with painting in extra bits here and there to make the final product just right.
