If I told you to embody Ariana Grande, what would you do?

I recently got a wooden stool that was left out in front of an apartment building. It’s awkwardly high, but it is perfect for studio shooting. I knew I could use it, but I wasn’t sure what I could use it for. It’s also the exact same type of stool featured in Ariana Grande’s “My Everything” album cover. Meagan got a kick out of it and decided to be a bit extra and kneel on it. It’s a bit too dark to see it, but it’s there.

It was so unbelievably dark, it was hard to take great pictures. If you zoom in, you can see all of the noise. On Instagram, you can barely notice it, and that’s all that really matters. The lighting on the first picture was just too perfect to not publish, even with the low picture quality.

Note to self: I need to visit a craft store for some new back drops. And some crafts to decorate the frame for different looks. Spring is on its way, I’m sure I can find a way to attach flowers all over it.

Thank u next.

  1. Hi Andy! Just wanted to let you know that I got your message on paintings and responded in your inbox 🙂 These are lovely photos btw! Props on mastering such dark lighting. (I remember struggling with reducing noise in dark environments, haha. But then it gives it a cool old school film effect!)
