Today it was a sunny 58 degrees F (~15 C) in New York, so it was a great time to go out and take some pictures. Unfortunately, there were a few problems:
- It was a Thursday afternoon, so all of my friends were at work.
- It’s still ‘winter’. Nothing has bloomed yet – which means all of the parks are a nice uniform shade of brown.
Regardless, I gave it a shot. I browsed around and found some early bloomers: a few flowers budding from a pile of leaves, and a sad excuse of a blueberry bush. Both of these gave me hope that spring is right around the corner. And with it is warmer weather, some color, and a lot more shooting opportunities.
As an aside, I’ve got something coming in the mail this weekend. And I’m super excited to get it to see what it can do.
