“It’s too cold to take photos,” I said. “I’ll wait until spring,” I said. But when someone’s significant other is in town for a limited amount of time, I decided to step out and take some photos for a few hours.
It’s always interesting to see the dynamic of a couple – both sides tend to accentuate and feed off the energy of the other. In the case of Meagan and Jake, you can really tell how active Meagan is and how down to earth Jake is. It’s very evident in the extras/blooper pictures that will probably never see the light of day. I was hard pressed to take a serious/cute picture with the two of them, but that’s okay.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, I feel obligated to do a quick shout-out to the other shoots I did in the past with couples. Last year, I did the “Perfect” project with Brian and Airi for Valentine’s Day. And last month, I had the honor of doing an engagement shoot with my friends, Ryan and Lisa. Check those out and give them a read!
Special thanks to Jake for being one of the best male models I’ve ever had the luck to work with. And also special thanks to the both of them for braving gusts of winter winds between indoor shoots.
