“All you can eat” is the definition of too much of a good thing.  It’s a fantastic idea for the first 20 minutes of eating, which then slowly devolves into a comatose form of regret.  That’s exactly what happened to me a two weeks ago.

To celebrate a friend’s birthday, 14 of us got together for all you can eat sushi.  It was another opportunity to exercise my food photography, especially since they’re so well presented when you order a couple of rolls at once.  Luckily, the lighting in the restaurant was also good: not harsh, but also directional so that the sushi had some depth to it.

I think I’ve had my fill of sushi for the next few months.
