Over the past few weeks, I’ve been slowly bringing my content on this blog over to my Steemit account. For those of you who don’t know what it is, Steemit is another blogging website that hosts and curates content similar to WordPress, except you get paid for it! The more you blog and interact with the community, you build your reputation on the site and get more Steem cryptocurrency for views, upvotes, and comments. I personally think it’s a great medium for people that already blog want to reach a new audience while also making a bit of money from it.
What does that mean about this blog? Not much. I’m still going to post regularly and add new content as I slowly move over my photos and posts to my Steemit site. If my Steemit takes off over the next few months, then maybe I’ll just post exclusively there. If not, then I’ll continue to work on this one and maybe purchase some things to make this site a bit more elegant.
Here is the link to my Steemit blog. Payouts aren’t that great yet, but I’m still learning the website little by little. Also feel free to join and to help support me!
Anyway, here’s a photo I took during the first snow storm back in December. Shortly after this, the school would then put away the patio furniture for the winter, so I consider myself lucky.
