Portfolio – December, 2016

As seen from my New Year’s post, this photo was taken when I visited an alpaca farm during a small snowstorm.  I’m fond of this photo because of how candid it is: just an alpaca peeking it’s head out to say hello.

I forget what lens I used to take this shot, but I am also very fond of the bokeh from the falling snow.  Shooting in that weather felt like a nightmare for my gear (my anxiety was set to 11 as I prayed that there wasn’t any permanent water damage.)  But in this case, I think the snow was the final touch that makes the picture so soft and comforting.

For future reference, I’d probably refrain from taking my camera out when it’s snowing again.
