Flashback — June, 2017 — If you’re ever blessed with a lake, clear weather, and a glorious sunset, I highly recommend you try and do a photoshoot there. I may have a newfound love for backlit photos, with a touch of lens flare. This was my first shoot I’ve ever done that incorporated motion. I think with future shoots, I’ll plan with small props – maybe petals or glitter that can fall or flow with a good toss. As for this trip, I’m glad that I was able to improvise with a thin outfit to capture the light at just the right time.

Looking back on the shots now, I’m really content with how they came out, mostly because I feel that these pictures symbolize some of the feelings that I have about life these days.
Reminisce, Ponder, Release.
