Aside from the “gram worthy” photos in the last post, I also managed to take more eccentric shots. These were more of a creative exercise and were not meant to see the light of day. But why not show the ‘rejects’ of a shoot as a sort of an added bonus.
The first photo is one of my favorite accidents, mostly because of how eerie it came out. I guess I just have a morbid fascination with this it. Plus I love the subtle detail in the eye that was well lit.
And at the end of the night, we tried our hand at light painting. In the future, I definitely want to try different patterns with the strings (sine waves, twirls and figure eights). The shots were also a nice reminder of how I still need to do a shoot with flaming steel wool.
