Game Day 2 (aka last day of Wildwood) — Luckily we were blessed with calm winds and sunny skies.  Because the weather was clear and we were much less competitive, I was able to break out my camera and tried getting shots during the games.

We’d later go on to close out the weekend with a trip to Wawa, a convenience store/food market that is non-existent in New York.  While sitting in a circle in front of a parking lot, we’d eat our food and say our goodbyes.  Some of us would be heading home to Minnesota, while others would disperse to New York, Massachusetts, and Virginia.

I’ll always be fond of Wildwood.  And as I get older, I realize its less about the sport and more about the people that I share it with.  Either way, it keeps me active every summer and it also gives me a reason to keep in touch with old friends.
